However, you must remember that Publisher is only available with the Professional version, so this is the version you must buy if you wish to have access to Publisher. However, Office also comes with Office , which is another method you can use to buy the Office suite of software — and Publisher. With Office , you subscribe to the software instead of just purchasing it , as you've done in the past.
You can pay for your subscription by the month, or yearly on the Microsoft Office website. The price of your subscription will be determined by the version that you want: Home, Small Business, or Midsize Business. Once you purchase a subscription, you'll be able to download Office on your computer, just as you would if you had bought the software in a store. As part of Office , you'll also be given multiple licenses, which will give you the ability to install the software on other computers, as well.
This is a perk that doesn't come with buying the software in a store. For the Home version, you get up to five licenses five devices. The Small Business version comes with licenses for up to 25 users.
The Midsize Business provides for up to users. There's also an Enterprise version for larger companies that offers unlimited users.

The app is purchasable as a standalone product or as part of Microsoft However, finding Publisher on Microsoft's website can take some time as it's not generally part of their core marketing, making it seem like Microsoft simply isn't pushing it to newer audiences.
Another consideration to take into account is if you don't currently own a Microsoft license. As a standalone product, it is relatively expensive , especially when considering the range of functionality on offer compared with some of the more prominent apps on the market.
Microsoft apps often have decent support in-app , and Publisher follows suit with their help section. If you're struggling with a particular function or are curious about doing something within the app, you can search directly. However, this is often laggy and, in our case, simply didn't work sometimes. Instead, we'd suggest visiting their site for direct support. While Microsoft Publisher does a great job at providing a simple-to-use app for the budding designer, it's difficult to overlook the high price tag associated with the tool.
Similarly, with limited access to licensing to solely one PC and only through Windows 10 or 11, many will be excluded from using the tool.
While Adobe's Creative Suite may be pricier, the functionality there will allow you to do much more than Publisher. Even Canva has more functionality and support than Publisher.
